We are living in times of unprecedented assault on Our Democracy. The State of Texas is working to pass laws designed to make it harder for Americans to vote.
Generations of Americans have persevered through voter suppression for decades. That is why it is so important for us to come together to organize and overcome the present-day barriers we are facing to protect our voting rights from being stripped away, ultimately taking away our power and silencing our voices. We must vote like the future of our democracy depends on it because it does!! We must act decisively to protect the right to vote and make the ballot box more accessible for everyone.
It is the Civic Duty of Barrett Civic League to Engage our Community, Organize and Mobilize to Protect our Voting Rights.
We must ACT NOW to ensure that every voice is heard, and every vote is counted in all elections.
We need your help to stand united with us to protect and ensure our democracy works for all of us well into the future!!

While the process may seem intimidating or even at times insignificant; you must remember that “you are the future” and your actions today, shapes your tomorrow!
